 Today was a boring day.Mr .Rease was absent today and left us with work that did not make sense to me.We were left with quotes from Emiky Dickinson and we had to answer questions that go with the quote.Some of the quotes didn't make sense and I could not figure out the theme.I needed a little extra assistance on the work today.

 Today as a reflection we went over two more Emiky Dickenson poem.Her poems are very meaningful but emotional .We went over the meanings behind her poems.I am very grateful for breaking down the stanzas so we know the meaning .We also made themes based on the poems and connections again.The Bell Ringer was about if we were in love and I answered no.If someone were to break my heart I would leave them alone and focus in myself and what makes me happy. 

 Today we started off with the Bell Ringer which consisted of 4 questions.It was a very intriguing and interesting topic .Next we learned about a poet named Emily Dickinson from 1800s.We also read one of her poems and wrote what the meaning behind, the poem. We gave the message and the theme and connections of the poem as well.

 Probability of life outside outside earth is likely .My reaction to seeing the image of earth from Mars is supposed because Earth looks so small.My reaction from the black hole sound is it was very interesting and terrifying sound in my opinion. This puts my life into perspective by seeing and looking at things outside earth and different interesting space details.

The class time was amazing today as well.I enjoyed our lecture today.Today we started off with our Bell Ringer and we list things that are simple but people make complex.Next we worked on a poem.We described every key word in the poem.Finally,we figure out the themes and connections of the poem. 

 Today's lecture was amazing.We watched a very informative video abouts riots and police brutality going on in the world.I also learned more about rhetorical appeals.Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms used all rhetorical apppeals.She was speaking in a stern voice with emotion.We also filled out a SPACE CAT worksheet with helped us with speaker,writer,and purpose and also message.

 

Today we learned about the 3 rhetorical appeals.Mr.Rease  proposed to the class the option of having a free day on Friday.I believe we should because it's the last day of school and we students are known to be tired or ready to go home on Fridays instead of doing work. Being off of school on breaks is somewhat equivalent to a free  day so I would say it is more rest reflection and recharging. Students tend to people and lack sleep and working all throughout the week can be tiring.Especilalyfor teens who are in extracurricular activities or clubs.

 Today we learned about Native American Lit.I learned about facts and stereotypes surrounding them.I learned about.myths and urban legends such as Bloody Mary.I learned to distinguish the two and I also learned about religion.

Today we learned about opinions and claims. We all were asked to talk about a opinion and give evidence behind the opinion.I think everyone did a extremely great job with their task.It I'd also another step to writing argumentative essays.

Today we learned more about arguments.I enjoy debates and arguments .I learned about the three different types of claims.Having this information will help me even better form a argumentative essay.In conclusion I had a great day of learning and it was very informative.

My purpose in life is  to graduate highschool as of right now.I want to continue on to college and get a degree in the medical field.I want t obe a surgical tech and I believe I would really enjoy the job.Along with that my purpose is to live a happy carefree life.I am stressed out in life right now because of many things.I hope to live a happy life later on in life.In conclusion,that is my purpose in life and goals I will achieve.

Today was a great day of learning.I learned about theme and connections of a poem.I learned more about words that I was not sure about in poems.I extended my vocabulary and I will become a better writer/reader because of it.

 Today was a overall great day.I learned more about informal and formal language.I practiced examples of both and I wrote in a formal language writing a letter.There is a time and place to use informal and formal language and I am glad that I have learned more about it.

I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia.I like to cook and bake for fun.Three goals of the schol year is to be more active and participate more.Another goal is to be in  clubs and sports.My last goal of the school year is to make straight A's.
