 Today in class started with a bell ringer. It was about a word that offends us and why.Later we started on our narrative 

 Today in class we worked on a argumentative essay.We took out our checklist for argumentative essay.We went over claims and conclusion and thesis.Wd completed three paragraphs for argumentative essay for practice for Milestone.

Today in class we watched a video on change of currency topic.We then worked on milestone prep.We started with argumentative essay.We started on position claim and evidence. 

 Today was a great day in class.We presented our poems.Everyone's  poem was amazing.We finished reading the Color Purple Book.

                              Agony and Infatuation  "My mama dead." "But I never get used to it." "She die screaming and cussing." "I felt sorry for mama." "And now when I dream I dream of Shug Avery." "My ears perk up when they mention Shug Avery." "All my life I had to fight." "Nothing but death can keep me from it." "Wash this ,iron that." "He strong in body but weak in will."

 Today we read some letters in The Color Purple.After that we watched clips of the movie.We then started working on found poems.

 Today we read 2 letter in The Color Purple Book.We wrote themes down for each letter.We answered 1 question with 3 questions in it.The question consisted of compare and contrast and relevance in the characters.

 Today we did a benchmark.I believe I did well on the constructed response.I cited evidence and completed a informative essay.I hope and pray I did well.

 Today we did a benchnark.We had to read 2 passages.The test was pretty difficult. I always find benchmark and illuminate assessments difficult. 

 Today we went over presentations again.We did a 321 again.321 consists of the 3 themes.We wrote two things we like about the presentation.We write one question about the letter. 

 Today we finished up with presentations. We stayed the themes.We also stated the 1 interesting things.We also stated a question we had about the letters.Everyone did a fantastic job.

 Today we went over presentations.We did a 321 paper while listening to them.We went over illustrations and questions.We read the letter to the class and completed the group assignment. 

 Today we were assigned a group assignment.I was assigned as the questionaire.My job is to create critical thinking questions about our letter.Our group was given letter 14 in The Color Purple Book.

 Today in class we were told to do lesson 3 in vocabulary books.The words seem hard but I will continue to study.I copied the words and definitions down.I completed and turned in Excercise 1.

 Today in class we did a  vocabulary test.I did fairly well on the test .Lastly we continued what we did yesterday.We did a a theme, topic ,analysis etc for every letter.We discussed our answers.

 Today's in class we we read 3 mor eletters.We are still on the book "The Color Purple. "We wrote a topic for each letter.We also analyzed the letter and wrote a theme for each letter.

 Today in class we did a test on the book "The Color Purple."We went over our answers to letter response questions.We went back and looked at the book and discussed our answers.We also watched a short clip from the movie in the beginning of class.
